# Migration from Relational Database to GemStone/S

It is possible to migrate from a **relational database** to **GemStone/S**. The migration process is the same to all relational database but the connection string to the database is slightly different in each one. 

For now **MySQL** is the only tested migration from a **database** to **GemStone/S** but other can be easily added.  

Current status of supported migrations:\
