Users and roles are the heart of BPM Application permission framework. Each role belongs to BPM Application. When an user has an assigned role he will have access to all Process and Forms of that BPM Application. In the following diagram the BPM Applications are the yellow boxes.
There are two different type of roles:
Backoffice Role
Frontoffice Role The same use can have access to both web applications (backoffice and frontoffice). A role can be an Administrator or not. In the case of Backoffice a role that is an administrator has access to ALL BPM Applications and Forms. If is not an administrator has access only to the BPM Application of the role.
